Abstract
According to APG system, Hydrangeaceae, in the order of Cornales, comprises 9 genera with approximately 223 species. Leaves are opposite, paired, and rarely whorled or alternate. Flowers are bisexual. Petals are usually 4 and rarely 5–12. Fruit is a capsule or berry, with several seeds. Seeds are with a fleshy endosperm. One species, Cardiandra moellendorffii (Hance) Migo, is illustrated in the chapter.
