Technical Description of the Production Law for Multi-Ware Production

  • Ragnar Frisch

If there exists some kind of technical connection between several products, e.g. because there are certain production factors which can be used or on technical grounds must be used jointly, or because certain factors can be used alternatively for one product or the other, with resultant technical consequences for the production of the other(s), then we say that these products are (technically) connected, or that we are dealing with multi-ware production. In this case the production law cannot be studied separately for each separate product, but must be considered simultaneously for all connected products.
