Abstract
Long ago one of our Vedas declared “Truth is one. Scholars described it variously.” This is something fundamental to Hinduism. Again and again saints and seers have reaffirmed this. Today we heard a Sikh friend spell out how Guru Nanak reaffirmed this. Later, in Bengal, the Brahma Samaj again reaffirmed this, as did Ramakrishna at about the same time.
Delivered extemporaneously at the Birla Academy, October 23, 1968.
