Reference

  1. For the sake of simplification we omit the notation of class from which the elements are discussed and denoted by the name variables of propositional functions (formulae), bound by the quantifier; we will take for granted that the substitution of variables in the propositional function will be “appropriately” realized. Besides, we will use the quantifiers in reference not only to propositional functions containing name variables but also to the formulae with propositional variables; this simplification may provoke some contestations, but it will facilitate the explanation of the basic notions of formal logic in an elementary way.
