Abstract

The Formal Opening Session took place in the Concert Hall of the Royal Dublin Society on Monday morning, July 8. Conferees were welcomed to Ireland and to Dublin by Michael O’Morain, Esq., Minister for Justice, by The Lord Mayor of Dublin, Councillor Tom Stafford, and by Patrick Noonan, Esq., President of the Incorporated Law Society of Ireland. The President of Ireland, Eamon de Valera, and An Taoiseach (Prime Minister) Jack Lynch graced the session with their presence.
