Introduction Models of Timing-with-a-Timer

  • Chapter

Part of the book series: NATO ASI Series ((ASID,volume 66))

Abstract

Ironically, for many of the authors in this volume, the study of time is secondary to the focus of their research-- the importance of temporal issues only becoming apparent given the failure of static approaches (e.g., Freyd, 1987). Their papers show how the representation of time has become interwoven with the study of attention, memory, and language.
