Abstract
We consider, in addition to traditional EIAs, what we call in French “ESTE” (Etudes Stratégiques d‘Impact sur I’Environnement, Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA). A SEA should be conducted in order to evaluate policies and master plans in the case of major infrastructure projects or transport interchanges.
