Abstract

At present there is considerable interest in the study of structural phase transitions in one-dimensional systems due to the displacement of the equilibrium positions of the molecules. The simplest theory [188] of such systems is based on a model of a quasi-one-dimensional chain of identical anharmonic oscillators linked by dipole-dipole interactions with each other.
