Abstract

Rocas Alijos lies approximately 343 km west of Baja California Sur, Mexico, at approximately 25°N latitude. During the 1990 Cordell Expedition to this site, two species of corals in two genera were collected by divers and forwarded to the author for examination. The specimens were collected from depths of 24–91 m, in water of temperature 19 to 21 °C. This paper presents identifications of these corals and remarks on their distributions and occurrence.
