Abstract

Belgium operates seven nuclear units of the PWR types (TIHANGE 1 to 3, DOEL 1 to 4), producing a total of 5500 MWe. These units are owned by the utility company ELECTRABEL, belonging to the TRACTEBEL Group, which includes also the TRACTEBEL Engineering Company.
