Abstract

For effective actinides burning organization, primarily plutonium in fast reactors one should develop new cores with the decreased production of minor actinides. Analysis points the following practical ways to such developments:

  • abandonment of breeding blankets;

  • increasing of fuel enrichment;

  • using of new fuel without U238 with inert matrix.
