Abstract

Microorganisms possessing specific activity have been used by man for a long time now in the processes of biosynthesis, biotransformation and biodegradation of various compounds. Significant amounts are released into the biosphere accidentally (with wastes) or premeditatedly (during bioremediation) [1–9].
