Abstract
The remnants of protoplanetary nebulae (PPN) envelopes are usually detectable in radio molecular line emission as well as in the far-infrared continuum radiation. By studying molecular line absorption in optical spectra of post-AGB stars is possible to obtain additional information on behaviour of the AGB remnant (Bakker et al. 1996).
