Abstract
It is satisfying to know that the participants at this high-level event on nuclear and chemical disarmament and on destruction of chemical and nuclear weapons are well aware of the environmental policy challenges these tasks entail. I will describe to you what Germany considers to be the most important environmental aspects of the disarmament process.
