Abstract
The locations of large corporations and the interconnections within and between them are examined throughout the book which provides new levels of integration. Both retailing and manufacturing companies are studied, thus better uniting the subdisciplines of manufacturing and retailing geography than previous works in the literature. Furthermore, the descriptions, classifications, and analyses are guided by concepts from both economic geography and from business economics. The emergent framework rests on the geographic triad of spatial differences, spatial processes, and spatial interactions.
