Abstract
The original title of this manuscript was Du and Ich; written between 1925 and 1927 it originated in connection with Schutz’s drafts of his Bergsonian studies, although it was not included in the published texts of the latter.1 Schutz wrote his manuscript notes in a very terse, abbreviated form. In translating them into English, Helmut Wagner expanded the notes into a coherent form consistent with his published translations of Schutz’s writings from the same period.
