Abstract
In Ch. 11–14 we developed the theory and analyzed the properties of autosolitons and strata in KN and KИ-systems, which are characterized by the existence of branch III of single-valued function θ(η) on curve LC (the “stability” values of θ > η′ 0, Fig. 9.5a,c). The amplitude of broad autosolitons, strata and other dissipative structures which are realized in such systems at ε = I/L ≪1 (that is, the value of θ = θ max) is practically independent of e, and is essentially determined by the nonlinearities of the system. To be more precise, θmax is limited by the value of θ s3, corresponding to branch III of curve LC at η= η s (Sect. 11.2).
