Abstract
We are familiar with assumptions according to which the identities of comprising entities are bound up with the identities of entities they comprise. Such assumptions provide us with conditions for the identity of a comprising entity stated with reference to the identities of the comprised entities. These conditions may be stated, noting in each case in brackets the relation which establishes the identity dependence, as follows. In the case of classes, we have:
