Abstract

In this paper, we give a detailed overview of the content and of the educational approach followed in the course of Laboratory of Microelectronics held at the University of Genova, Italy. The course follows an original approach in teaching analog integrated circuit design to students at the fourth year of their five years curriculum in Electronic Engineering; such approach is mainly based on teaching to students practical and reliable design methodologies and on intensive laboratory exercises.
