Abstract
Multiobjective decision problems are always challenging and require a mix of factual information and value judgement. Within the series of steps which constitute a decision process, the evaluation stage plays an important role. This conclusion, although found by simple people, seems to us a good thing, and we thought of placing it here, as the synthesis of the complete story.
(Alessandro Manzoni, I Promessi Sposi)
