Abstract

Quantum deformations of the (2+1)–dimensional Poincaré algebra are presented as symmetries of systems with a discrete direction. Dimensional properties of the deformation parameter are studied in connection with the general Cayley-Klein scheme from which these quantum algebras have been obtained.
