Immunological Examples on Ultra High Dilution Research

Summary

Immunological models seem to be very useful in demonstrating the activity of homoeopathic high dilution effects of hormones or mediators. Various experimental models have been used. We will describe successively: the action of highly diluted antigens on the secretion of specific antibodies; the action of very low doses or high dilutions of molecules which participate in the education of T or B lymphocytes such as thymic hormones (T lymphocytes) or bursin (B lymphocytes); the immunomodulating effect of very low doses of cytokines; the immunopharmacological activity of high dilution of silica.

Zusammenfassung

Immunologische Modelle scheinen sehr gut geeignet, die Aktivität homöopathischer (Hoch-)Verdünnungen von Hormonen und anderen Substanzen zu demonstrieren. Der Einfluß von hochverdünnten Antigenen auf die Sekretion von spezifischen Antikörpern, der Effekt von Hochverdünnungen von Molekülen, die die Bildung von Lymphozyten beeinflussen (Thymushormone und Bursin), sowie die immunopharmakologische Aktivität von Silicat werden beschrieben.
