The Ideals of Moralogical Management

Abstract

The ideals of Dr. Chikuro Hiroike, the founder of moralogy (moral science), are explored. According to Hiroike, the realization of peace and happiness requires supreme morality. Supreme morality is a broad value system, incorporating the teachings of Jesus Christ, Buddha, Confucius, and other great sages. Only those actions which stem from a humble, altruistic mentality are supremely moral. Morality (the principle of spiritual life) and economy (the principle of material life) are two sides of the same coin and, hence, fundamentally the same. Both share supreme morality as the basis of their construct. Moralogical management arises from the unification of morality and economy. It calls for the cultivation of high character capital by emphasizing the, personal growth of employees over material profit and all other goals. Moreover, it compels management to base its dealings upon a triadic justice and equality -- all three sides to a transaction (you, the other party, and the third party) should benefit. The success of a corporation depends upon whether it actualizes the goals of supreme morality: individual happiness and social peace.
