Abstract
Most galaxies are continuum radio sources and M31 is no exception. It is what radio astronomers classify as a normal galaxy, though, not a radio galaxy, as its radio luminosity is moderate. The spectrum of its radio radiation shows that the sources of this radiation are both thermal and non-thermal. In this sense, M31 is rather like our own galaxy, though the detailed structure and scale of the radio image is different.
