Abstract
This chapter contains a survey of empirical studies, based on the different methods of analysing environmental effects outlined in chapter 5. Most of the case studies represent different kinds of projects with environmental impact, covering a range of projects like soil and water conservation, range management, agroforestry and forestry. These are presented in sections 7.1 and 7.2. One example of a multiple-objective programme is presented in section 7.3. Furthermore, a study concerning the establishment of a national reserve forest is summarized in section 7.4.
