Abstract

The long term goal of this study is the modelling of vortex breakdown that occurs in some aerodynamic configuration at high angles of attack, (fighters highly swept delta wings or missiles for example). Experimental and theoretical work done at ONERA [1,2] and elsewhere [3] has not yet provided a full understanding of the phenomenon
