Abstract

We are now making a 60 cm submillimeter survey telescope at Nobeyama, Japan. The primary purpose of this telescope is to complete a Galactic plane survey in the CO (J=2–1) emission. Elementary heating processes of molecular gas will be investigated by comparing our data with the Columbia CO (J=1–0) survey.
