Abstract
The government of the German Democratic Republic considers it necessary to address the government of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics on the following question:
More than 13 years have already passed since the end of the Second World War, but a peace treaty with Germany has not been concluded to this day. The German people demand that all interested parties, at long last, approach the solution of this problem with all earnestness and realise their reponcibility for the future of the German people and peace in Europe.
