Abstract

The Moderator opened the session by defining the scope and the relative position of secondary sterility in New South Wales, Australia. It then became evident that this problem presents in very different ways in different parts of the world, being 50% in the Australian figures and falling as low as 10% in some of the Belgian figures; the World Health Organization figure is 30%.
