Abstract

Dr F. Zegers produced data for the plasma progesterone profile in a normal cycle. He obtained data in 22 patients who were stopping barrier contraception and, using these patients (who subsequently proved to be highly fertile), he was able to show no difference between the non-conception cycles and the progesterone profile in the subsequent conception cycles (at least in the first half before corpus luteum rescue).
