Abstract
The foregoing chapters were principally concerned with an examination of the legal consequences of the Anschluss and the subsequent Allied occupation of Austria in the light of traditional international law. Considerable attention was also devoted to the reaction of the international community to the slow but persistent movement in international relations toward the outlawry of illegal acquisitions of territory. This latter development must inevitably bring about a re-examination of some of the traditional concepts of international law.
