Abstract
Contemporary man considers himself great simply because he is the final phase of a progress which began in the early ages. Is contemporary man’s greatness unquestionably founded in his being the final link in a long and gradual procedure of development? Such a question cannot be answered without any reference to some meditation or thought. Philosophy is the realm of thought. Philosophy then can properly deal with the greatness of contemporary man.
