Abstract

When we analyzed the moral situation we discovered that decisions were based on judgments, and that basic to these judgments were moral principles which were used as premisses. We are now engaged in an analysis of the meanings of some widely used moral principles and on a consideration of the difficulties involved in applying them. A few more moral principles need to be considered. If the task is becoming tiresome, we must be patient. The clarification of meaning and application is indispensible to an intelligent understanding of moral decisions.
