Abstract

Parents and siblings of 250 infants and children with biopsy documented coeliac disease who presented past and/or present symptoms suggestive of coeliac disease were investigated. Small bowel biopsies were obtained in all cases, and relevant clinical and other laboratory data in most of them. No investigations were undertaken in relatives without symptoms.
