Abstract

An economy consists of producers who produce goods and render services, and consumers who constitute the buyers of the goods and the users of the services. The producers are combined into industries on the basis of corresponding end products. The consumers are comprised of family units (families, societies, institutions, convents and other non-profit units) and the government, in so far as its activities are related to consumption.
