Abstract

A number of the comments in this chapter refer to procedures in the United Kingdom but it is felt that many of these apply worldwide. The technical material, identification of insects and rodents, and methods of control are generally applicable in every country. Life cycles, particularly of some insects, vary with the climate, and this will affect methods of control to some extent.
