Perturbed Alpha — Gamma Angular Correlations in the Decay of 241,243 Am

Abstract

Angular correlations involving α-particles differ from those involving or following β-decay and γ-transitions. They may be strongly perturbed even at lifetimes as short as 10−10 sec.
