Abstract

Having completed in the preceding chapter a brief outline of the information which reaches us from the lunar surface by means of the electromagnetic radiation in different parts of the spectrum, a time has come for us to take stock of this knowledge reaching us through these different channels of information to see what it reveals concerning the structure of the lunar surface concealed below the limits of direct telescopic resolution.
