Abstract

A prospective study of patients who undergo long term lithium treatment to prevent relapses of an affective disorder or of other recurrent psychotic conditions assumed to be influenced by lithium has been going on for a few years at the Department of Psychiatry, Umeå University. The project has been mentioned in previous papers (1, 2).
