Abstract
Oleoresinous media are those manufactured by heating together oils and either natural or preformed synthetic resins until the product reaches a predetermined viscosity, then thinning the resulting resinous mass with an organic solvent. The definition thus excludes such important vehicles as alkyds, non-convertible lacquers, spirit varnishes, and all oil-free products.
