Abstract
The Conference on the Reintegration of the Medically Exceptional Child was conceived by people who are dedicated to the welfare and guidance of all children and who particularly recognize that some children have special needs. The conference was a success, judging from the enthusiasm, spirit of collaboration, expertise, and experience. And underlying these exceptional qualities was a keen awareness of the problems associated with educating medically exceptional children; but along with it too were optimism and determination to seek solutions and make change a reality.
