Part of the book series: Current Histopathology ((CUHI,volume 1))

Abstract

In the previous section, lymphomas dominated by proliferations of cells predominantly in the same size range are discussed. Attention is drawn, in this section, to those which have a mixed appearance due either to differences in the cytological expression of the basic single cell type or to a conspicuous admixture of other non-neoplastic cells. This group is readily confused with Hodgkin’s disease, because of the presence of large nuclei and because of the reactive cell element, especially histiocytes.
