Abstract

Differences in the administration of Workers’ Compensation and Social Security payments are presented. In many ways the rules of evidence in Social Security cases permit distortions and unjustified disability grants. Because of the potential for immense personal, social, and economic loss in disability grants, physicians must be aware of the issues and be careful in their assessments and reports.
