Abstract
Impaired function of polymorphonuclear neutrophil granulocytes (PMN) is associated with recurrent bacterial infections. Inherited defects in the chemotactic response1 and in different microbicidal enzymes have been described2. It is however unclear to what extent the granulocyte function in patients with a history of recurrent infections is impaired.
