Abstract
AIDS is a frightening disease since it has dire consequences for its victims. The prevalence of AIDS appears to be increasing at an alarming rate. Epidemiologists and other scientific researchers are trying to track the spread of the disease and define more accurately the various risk factors involved in the development of AIDS.
