Abstract
It is obvious that inoculation and subculturing should also be carried out under the same sterile conditions as isolation. In a professional laboratory these take place in the laminar air-flow cabinet, but if there is not enough laminar air-flow space available (e.g. during practical courses), cutting etc., can be carried out between sterile filter paper.
