Abstract
A famous scientist once gave a lecture on astronomy. He described how the earth goes round the sun and the sun round the centre of the Milky Way. At the end of his lecture a little old lady stood up and said, “What youVe just told us is nonsense. In reality the world is flat. Its a plate on the back of a giant turtle.” The scientist chuckled condescendingly and asked, “And what is the turtle standing on, madam?” “You’re pretty clever, young man, pretty clever,” said the old lady, “but it’s turtles through and through.”
