Abstract

The results of numerical modelling of turbulent regimes of free convective heat and mass transfer are presented. The model approximately describes the process of liquid oil products storage in the underground reservoir [1,2], where the geothermal gradient causes the strong turbulent convection in a gas-liquid system. The problem under consideration is formulated for a two-layer gas-liquid system filling the vertical cylindrical reservoir formed in solid heat conductive array in which vertical upwards temperature gradient is assigned.
