Abstract
Renovascular occlusive disease has two important clinical manifestations:
-
renovascular hypertension, i.e. hypertension caused by renal artery disease, which can potentially be cured or improved with renal revascularization or nephrectomy; and
-
renovascular renal insufficiency which can be defined as a renal insufficiency caused by a reduction of renal blood flow.
