Abstract
For as long as the so-called ‘new type forest damage’ has been discussed, nutritional disturbances have been indicated as symptomatic findings. Meanwhile the complex and numerous relationships between nutrient supply and new type forest damage in Europe, North America and elsewhere are well established.
